All Elite Wrestling revealed the brackets for the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament, with the first names having advanced on Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
Roderick Strong defeated Trent Beretta to advance to the semifinals, while Darby Allin defeated Nick Wayne to proceed to the semifinals.
The other two quarterfinals will take place on AEW Rampage this Friday, with the semifinals set for AEW Collision.
The finals of the tournament are scheduled for next week, with the winner challenging MJF for the AEW World Championship at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

Orange Cassidy claims that Best Friends aren’t just a gimmick, but rather Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta are best friends in real life.
The former AEW International Champion recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about the relationship between the group and more, and you can check out some highlights below:
On his character style: “I think our fans are very smart, and their emotions can speak for themselves. I do it in the ring through actually wrestling. I may not nail it every time, but I’m telling my story through professional wrestling. It’s taken me a long time to figure it out, but I refuse to do it the way it’s been done.”
On his friendship with the group: “I always make it a point that we’re shown together. I wouldn’t have had that championship and I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did without Trent, Chuck, and Kris. We are legitimately best friends. Mentally and physically, we rely on each other. There have been times where I was so hurt I couldn’t lift my bag into an overhead compartment, and Chuck’s done it for me. Trent’s always there for me. Kris has literally carried me places. Without them, I’d never have been able to accomplish what I did.”
