All Elite Wrestling has posted a new job listing for a new medical coordinator. The position is described as follows:
AEW is currently seeking a Medical Coordinator to join our Medical Team. The ideal candidate must be reliable, have a keen eye for detail, exhibit a commitment to excellence, comfortable taking initiative, and have a high degree of integrity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collect and keep an accurate record of talent health insurance and conduct quarterly audits
* Coordinate doctor’s appointments with talent following an in-ring injury and diagnosis from team medical
* Work with talent’s health insurance to secure appointments with in-network physicians
* Communicate updates regarding injuries (status, treatment plan, progression) between talent and team medical
* Conduct weekly check-ins with injured talent while away on recovery
* Communicate anticipated medical expenses for talent procedures with Team Legal, HR and Finance
* Assist talent with submitting medical expense receipts for reimbursement through Concur
* Maintain talent confidentiality and ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in medical field
* Remote position with ability to travel as needed
* Demonstrates proficiency in medical terminology
* Knowledge or training of ICD-10 coding
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
* Detail-oriented individual who is experienced in managing more than one concurrent project and can prioritize tasks
* Strong ability to adapt to changes and work effectively under pressure while producing accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
