Recently there were reports circulating that WWE put a stop to a Superstar facing a AEW signee. WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm was scheduled to face World of Stardom Champion Bea Priestley (AEW).
However, today there will be a match that will see two women from the two different companies competing.
Sadie Gibbs (AEW) will be facing Xia Brookside (WWE NXT) at UK promotion Southside Wrestling’s “Cruel Intentions” event.

United Kingdom wrestler Sadie Gibbs signed to All Elite Wrestling in March of this year. While Xia Brookside has been competing under WWE’s NXT brand since 2018.
