At Sunday night’s AEW Dynasty 2024 pay-per-view event, Roderick Strong defeated Kyle O’Reilly to retain the AEW International Championship.
Kyle stomped away at Roderick until the referee intervened, and the champion took advantage, hitting the End of Heartache for the pin to win and retain the title.
Strong and Wardlow celebrated in the ring as Matt Taven and Mike Bennett joined Adam Cole, who was in a wheelchair, on stage.
However, to everyone’s surprise, Cole stood up from the wheelchair, revealing he was healthy enough to walk.
The trio headed down the ramp to continue their celebration, but Cole gave Wardlow an intense stare due to his recent failure to win the AEW World Championship.
