At the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event, Samoa Joe, Hangman Page, and Swerve Strickland will headline the show in a triple threat match.
In the main event of Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Joe, Strickland, and Brian Cage faced off against Page, HOOK, and Rob Van Dam. Joe tried to execute his finisher during the match, but Page managed to avoid it and looked to have hurt his ankle in the process. Page then left the ring due to the pain and sat at ringside for the rest of the match.
There were concerns that Page may have broken his ankle during the match. Fightful Select has reported that Page is not actually injured, and it was all part of the storyline. One wrestler mentioned, “Yeah, he’s fine. He’s just doing his job well.”
