Kenny Omega recently underwent surgery for diverticulitis.

Fightful Select is reporting that the AEW wrestler underwent surgery on May 16th in New York.

Omega is expected to face a “lengthy recovery” and there are no creative plans in place for him at this time.

In other news, Major League Wrestling (MLW) has announced that its ‘Battle Riot VI’ event, which takes place on June 1st in Atlanta, Georgia, is now sold out.
