Sting will team with Darby Allin to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks in a Tornado Tag Team match this Sunday at AEW Revolution 2024 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa discussed AEW bringing in personal circumstances for Sting and Darby’s feud with The Young Bucks, such as the heel EVPs attacking The Icon’s sons.

On AEW bringing personal circumstances into the Sting and Darby Allin story with The Bucks: “I think with some of the personal experiences that were brought up into storylines, it was done well and in a way where it’s kind of like borderline too personal but not too personal. I think it just brings a lot more reality to things because the reactions are not going to be as super reactive, but it’s gonna be something where you can relate and you can express in a way where people can understand what you’re feeling.”
On how it’s similar in acting experiences looking into you digging deep from personal experiences: “That’s one of the most important parts in acting classes where they give you certain characters and the characters go through certain things, they always tell you to ‘dig deep’ from the experiences you had in the past — your personal experiences.”
