Alexa Bliss recently spoke with The Idaho Press about various topics. Here are the highlights.
On being called up: “When my picture showed up on the screen, I just dropped and started crying, then I realized I was being recorded so I stood up really quick,” Bliss said with a laugh. “It was really an emotional feeling because I had been in NXT for three-and-a-half years and I had those moments where I was like I don’t know if I can keep doing this. It’s so hard. There are times where it’s very frustrating, and times where it’s really rewarding.”
On upsetting the parent of a young WWE fan: “I’m a bad guy right now. So at the last live event, I went to go high-five this woman’s kid and I ended up not doing it and she got really upset with me. Deep down I was kind of scared of her, but it was actually really funny. But that’s why I love traveling. I get to meet so many different people and go to so many different places that I’ve never been before, Nampa for example.”
On her November 8th title shot against SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch: “I’m definitely ready for that match. I’ve gone to the performance center and trained a little bit more in the ring. I’ve been watching tape and studying her. I’ve seen everything she can do, but she hasn’t seen everything I can do. She may have paved the way for me, but I’m going to take the title and become the evolution of the new era.”
