2020 US Presidential Candidate (D) Andrew Yang, who is a big wrestling fan, has been very outspoken against WWE’s new ban on talent not being able to use third-party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo. He has been very open to the fact that if he gets a position in government to do so, he would look into WWE’s status that wrestlers are independent contractors.
Of course, Zelina Vega was released from WWE yesterday and revealed that she supports unionization. Paige also revealed that she’s learned a lot about unions lately.
When a wrestling fan asked Yang about Vega’s release on Twitter, he replied with the following,
“I haven’t forgotten about Vince McMahon.”
Of course, Donald Trump and Vince McMahon are very good friends so there wasn’t much that could be done. Now that Donald Trump is out and Joe Biden is in, it’s a whole new ballgame that Vince McMahon may have to deal with and Vince seems to be wanting to pick that fight.
