On a recent edition of his “The ARN Show” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson declared that he lacks the skills of a babyface and is better off as a heel.
Anderson also discussed his preference to work in tag teams rather than going solo.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On him being better as a heel than a babyface: “100%. I was doing the best that I could do with what I was given, and I was — I’ll be the first to tell you I have no babyface skills, and that manifests itself in every single match that I have. You know, all I could do was sell, which is the biggest part of our business. And someway, somehow either let them think they’re going to get a spinebuster or have them get a spinebuster, because that kind of helped me to catch up, if you know what I mean.”
On preferring to be a tag team star instead of a singles wrestler: “Yeah. I always said that I prefer to work tags if the scenario is we’re the champion and we have great challengers. But if it’s not a good situation for a tag match, at least if I’m single I’m in control of my own destiny.”
