According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Goldberg’s contract with WWE will be expiring soon. His current deal calls for one more match. As many of you know, Goldberg’s contract is paying him a ton of money for just several matches per year. The contract also features a no-cut clause.
Goldberg will be turning 55 soon and it remains to be seen if WWE will re-sign him.
Of course, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Edge, and Shane McMahon are just a few of the special attractions left out there. For those unaware, Shane McMahon is under a talent contract. Both The Undertaker and Steve Austin are also signed to huge money deals but only to “keep them part of the promotion ‘forever’”.
