We previously reported here on eWn that WWE creative team writer and producer Ryan Katz, who was released from the company back in January, will be returning to WWE. According to a report from Pwinsider, Katz is expected to be back soon. Some believe he’ll be back as early as this week.
Additionally, there has been a lot of talk backstage that people who have worked closely with Triple H may be returning to WWE in some capacity. So far, both Katz and Road Dogg have been brought back.
WWE RAW Superstars Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory are booked for Friday’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings. There is no word on if they’ll be appearing live, or will be featured in a dark match instead. The latter is said to be more likely.
A&E was filming WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures over the weekend in Pennsylvania. Some of the names being filmed were Rikishi, Jerry Lawler, Samu, Gene Snitsky and others.
Speaking of Rikishi, the WWE Hall of Famer took to Facebook over the weekend to announce that he’s looking for the ring gear of the late Umaga, which was sold. He wrote,
“I’m on the hunt to find my brother Eki Gear that was sold. Any leads ?? I’ll pay top dollar. A must this piece go up in Samoan Dynasty Collectables museum at KnokX Pro Entertainment. Lmk . Hit me on the side any leads. Thank you / FATUS“
