A few weeks ago Randy Orton announced that he would work the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.Â
He joins names like AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan in the match. This came at a time where it was reported that WWE had plans for a match between Orton and The Fiend Bray Wyatt at the Royal Rumble.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the announcement of Orton in the Rumble match was actually a red herring, and the plan for a match with the Fiend is still on.
