As seen at “The WRLD on GCW” event that took place several months ago, Effy faced off against Jeff Jarrett in a match that ended with Effy losing.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plans were for the two men to face off in two rematches but that didn’t happen.
The second match between the two men would have taken place during WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas, Texas, but GCW officials told Jarrett they were pushing it back. The match was then planned for an event in Las Vegas, but GCW postponed it again.
Of course, Jeff Jarrett is now back with WWE so that match will no longer be taking place.
