As we reported last night here on eWn, Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE during the Women’s Royal Rumble match and eliminated Charlotte Flair in quick fashion to win the whole thing. Also, Becky Lynch retained her RAW Women’s Championship over Doudrop.
According to a report from Fightful, the current plan is for Ronda Rousey to face Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas. As far as Becky Lynch is concerned, she’s expected to face Bianca Belair at the event.
Multiple sources are reporting that Flair has been pushing for a match with Rousey for several months now. WWE was patiently waiting for Rousey to confirm that she’d be returning to the company after giving birth last year.
Additionally, Dave Meltzer is reporting that the current plan is for Rousey to face Flair at WrestleMania 38, and then Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 39 in 2023.
