Dave Meltzer gave some updates on WWE’s pay-per-view business on Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio.

Cable/satellite providers were informed of WWE’s decision to air WrestleMania 36 over the course of two nights from the Performance Center earlier this week.

Meltzer noted those companies will be selling the PPV differently. Some companies will do individual nights while others will sell both nights for one price.

Regarding the option of WWE selling the rights of their major PPVs to another streaming service such as ESPN, Vince McMahon has had talks with ESPN to put those shows on ESPN+.

However, the talks are “far apart on money” because McMahon wants a higher number than what UFC received from ESPN. The exact number wasn’t given.
