As seen on Tuesday night’s TNA iMPACT! Wrestling broadcast debut on POP TV, James Storm returned to TNA to reform Beer Money Inc. with Bobby Roode. This comes after Storm had worked several WWE NXT live events and was featured in a few WWE.com articles.

In an update on his current status, Prowrestlingsheet.com is reporting that Storm was offered a WWE contract, which would have paid him less than $100,000 a year. He would have continued to work with NXT and train at the WWE Performance Center. According to the site, TNA offered Storm a two-year deal, worth “more than two times the WWE offer”. TNA also offered him a percentage of his merchandise sales. Storm’s TNA deal is also said to be a guaranteed deal and not a pay per appearance one. With that being said, the TNA offer was much better and Storm accepted it. WWE officials reportedly left the door open for a future return as the two sides parted ways on good terms.
