After being let go by WWE last November and his non-compete clause expiring earlier this month, Keith Lee signed with AEW. He made his promotional debut last week on Dynamite where he beat Isiah Kassidy in the Face of the Revolution qualifying match.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lee wasn’t backstage at Wednesday’s Dynamite although a pre-taped promo did air. The reason for this was due to Lee being on his honeymoon with Mia Yim as they decided to hold off on going on vacation so Lee could make his debut.
Lee was given off a week and will be back next week.
