Kyle O’Reilly’s future in WWE is in question.
The NXT star is the latest whose future is the subject of speculation among wrestling fans, as his contract with WWE is set to expire next month.
According to a report at PWInsider.com, there has been a lot of talk behind-the-scenes within WWE regarding what they are going to do about O’Reilly’s contract.
The report also notes that O’Reilly is listed on the current “internal roster” as the number two babyface in NXT right now, behind Tommaso Ciampa.
Since the launch of NXT 2.0, O’Reilly has been teaming with Von Wagner. The two worked a match against Legado Del Fantasma on last night’s edition of the weekly NXT on USA Network program.
O’Reilly is probably best known for his work as one of the members of The Undisputed ERA, which was led by Adam Cole and also featured Bobby Fish — both of whom have since jumped-ship to AEW, as well as Roderick Strong.
As things stand right now, there is no indication of where O’Reilly’s future is headed.
