Two championships changed hands at Saturday’s NJPW Wrestling Dontaku event.
First, David Finlay defeated Nic Nemeth to win the IWGP Global Championship in the show’s co-main event. The finish came when Finlay pinned Nemeth after hitting an Overkill to win the title for the second time.
The other title change was KENTA and Chase Owens defeating Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI to capture the IWGP Tag Team Championship for the second time.
