UPDATE: Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE women’s wrestler Eva Marie’s recent WWE Wellness suspension was due to her not providing a prescription for Adderall. It should be noted that all performers are required to disclose all prescribed medication to WWE officials. The Adderall that Eva Marie was not approved for her. Marie told WWE officials that she has a legitimate prescription from her doctor for Adderall and apparently plans to appeal the suspension.
ORIGINAL: Eva Marie issued a statement on her WWE Wellness Policy suspension, saying that it was not due to a failed test but instead a failure to turn in paperwork in time. Marie released a statement to Pro Wrestling Sheet, explaining the reason for her suspension, which is why her husband publicly said the suspension was “unjust”.
Marie’s statement read, “I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won’t compromise on its integrity…I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return! Thank you for your support.”
