Cody Rhodes has been sidelined for several months after tearing his pectoral muscle, which required surgery after his WWE Hell in a Cell match with Seth Rollins.
Despite the setback and recovery from the injury, he’s still getting some work done, specifically to promote WrestleMania, according to a new report by Fightful Select.
Per the report, WWE filmed a commercial on Thursday in Los Angeles, CA that featured Rhodes and The Miz locking up on a Los Angeles bridge. Maryse was also supposed to be in attendance, though it’s unclear if it was for a specific commercial spot or just to be there.
WWE fully expects to have Rhodes back in time for WrestleMania. Although not confirmed, there’s speculation he could make his WWE return at the Royal Rumble next month.
