It’s well known by now that former Raw Women’s Champion Bayley was recently injured and it happened at the worst possible time. As seen on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, she competed in a singles match against Nia Jax. It was a stiff match, to say the least, and as a result of that style, Bayley was injured during the match.
WWE announced last week in an article on their official website that Bayley, who is set to challenge Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title at the upcoming Summerslam PPV (pay-per-view) event later this month in Brooklyn, New York on the WWE Network, suffered a right shoulder injury during the match.
As seen in the video below, WWE has announced that Bayley will not be able to compete at SummerSlam due to her suffering a separated shoulder. She will appear on tonight’s episode of Raw. There will be two-triple threat matches and the winners of those matches will square off next week to determine who will challenge Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam.
