During Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Homecoming, Christian Cage defeated The Blade to move up in the rankings.
Later on in the show, during an interview with Tony Schiavone, Schiavone announced that Christian will be challenging Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. The match date has yet to be announced, but it is heavily rumored to take place at AEW All Out in September.

After AEW Dynamite: Homecoming went off the air, AEW President Tony Khan came out to announce to the fans that AEW will be returning to Daily’s Place on December 29th, 2021 for an episode of Dynamite.
