During a recent group All Elite Wrestling interview with TV Insider at San Diego Comic-Con, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. was asked who she was interested in having a match with. Baker mentioned that she’d like to team up with her boyfriend Adam Cole against the married couple of CM Punk and AJ Lee.
“I would like to have a mixed tag match with myself and Adam Cole, who is my boyfriend, with possibly CM Punk and his beautiful wife, and my all-time favorite wrestler!”
Punk responded by saying that he’ll consider the match once Cole makes it official and puts a ring on Baker’s finger. He said,
“When’s he putting a ring on that finger, what’s going on? Let’s talk about that. You’re gonna pick a fight that you can’t win. Let’s talk about how me and my wife, we don’t trifle with boyfriend-girlfriend duos, you know what I’m saying?”
Baker was quick to respond with, “We’re working on it. We’re busy. I’m a wrestler and a dentist … But wife soon, someday. Not today.”
Any potential match with those four is not happening anytime soon. Punk, the current AEW World Champion, is currently nursing a foot injury that will have him sidelined for several months. As for Lee, she has said she doesn’t plan on wrestling again due to her neck injury.
