The pay-per-view numbers for WWE Crown Jewel have been revealed.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the premium live event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia scored the lowest numbers for a WWE PPV ever.

Meltzer wrote, “PPV numbers for the show were 6,500, the lowest for any WWE PPV show in history and down 39.7 percent from Extreme Rules, although they were not going to do PPV numbers close to Extreme Rules out of the regular time slot, this was also lower than prior Saudi Arabia shows had done and some of them were on Thursdays.”

The show was down 18 percent in PPV buys from the 8,000 for the last Saudi Arabia show, Elimination Chamber, this past February. Most fans watched the show on Peacock or the WWE Network.

Crown Jewel 2022 was the fourth edition of the premium live event. WWE signed a 10-year deal in 2018 to host two events annually in Saudi Arabia, although that pattern was thrown off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
