To chant “Ass Boys” or not to chant? That is the question. Whether ’tis nobler to suffer the wrath of Austin and Colten Gunn, or take to the seas with Chris Jericho and Danhausen, and by opposing, be ridiculed by them. To chant, to sleep no more.
Such is the existential question facing the passengers of the upcoming Jericho Cruise. Jericho’s floating wrestling extravaganza is scheduled for February 2nd to 6th, 2023, and it has its first announced match. The Gunns, Austin and Colten, will face the unlikely duo of Chris Jericho and Danhausen. The Gunns are adamant that certain guidelines be followed by those on the cruise: no “Ass Boys” chants allowed.
Austin Gunn took to social media to remind fans that should they chant “Ass Boys,” they will be thrown overboard by security. Austin said, “I just got off the phone with @IAmJericho & we discussed the rules that are implemented on the #FourLeafClover. 1. There will be NO #AssBoys chants, slurs, or remarks allowed on the boat. if you fail to abide, @IAmJericho & his security team will throw you overboard thank you”

This earned a very nice (but very evil) response from Jericho’s tag partner. Danhausen disagrees with the Gunn Club: he believes the chants should be heavily encouraged by those in attendance. Danhausen posted his response below:
Danhausen just got off the phone with @IAmJericho and he said you have told a lie to the internet and Ass Boy chants are encouraged HEAVILY and you must come out to your custom Ass Boy theme music Danhausen gifted you. https://t.co/WIx6PV6CZY
