Diamond Dallas Page had nothing but praise for Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins following their Fight Pit match at Extreme Rules. The two performers pulled off a move that could have gone very wrong, and it did not go unnoticed by Page.
Speaking on his recent “DDP Snake Pit” podcast, DDP took some time out to heap praise on Riddle’s modified senton splash off the top of the Fight Pit cage. The WWE Hall of Famer spoke about how the move has such a small margin for error, and how both men deserve credit for pulling off the difficult spot.

His surprise at seeing Riddle attempt the move: “I did not see Riddle coming and doing what, to me, I’ll call a coffin drop [on his back from the top of Fight Pit structure]. God, what a dangerous bump. What a dangerous bump. And man, on both sides, to take the trust because if he’s [Riddle] just four inches less and his ass lands on his [Rollin’s] gut … It’s like the top athletes in this business have a sense of skill and luck, and I mean all around.”
What it takes to pull that move off: “He absorbs so much of that [move] on his glutes and his spine. Seth felt a lot of it too, but Matt took a lot of that. What great athletes.”
