Former WWE Superstar Matthew Rehwoldt made his Impact Wrestling debut at Impact Homecoming. Rehwoldt was announced as the mystery partner of Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo in the Homecoming King and Queen tournament. The duo would go on to win the tournament, and be crowned Impact Wrestling’s Homecoming King and Queen.
The pair would kick-off the show, first facing off against the team of Alisha Edwards and Hernandez. They would then meet Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona in a semi-final match. Before finally, they faced Crazzy Steve and Rosemary of Decay in the final, where Rehwoldt/Purrazzo would win and be crowned Homecoming King and Queen. In two out of the three matches, it would be the debuting Matthew Rehwoldt who would pick up the winning pinfall for his team.

Also, former ECW and WCW manager Missy Hyatt made her debut for Impact Wrestling on the show. She teamed with Brian Myers as his mystery partner, however they were defeated quickly. You can check out some highlights from that below:
