Former WWE official Tim White has died at the age of 68.

As first reported by WWE.com, White passed away earlier today after a lengthy career in wrestling.

White was the referee for the legendary Undertaker vs. Mankind Hell in a Cell match at King of the Ring 1998 and came close to ending the match early, but Mick Foley begged him not to.

White would have a brief retirement after being injured in the Judgment Day 2002 Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and Chris Jericho which the former would win.

Tim White also owned a bar known as The Friendly Tap which was the site of many WWE events during the Attitude Era.

Our thoughts go out to White’s family and those who knew him at this sad time.
