LA Knight is currently the hot favorite to win the 2023 Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match this Saturday at the O2 Arena in London.
During a recent edition of his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. and co-host Jeff Dye explained that Vince McMahon’s reservations about Knight could result in some other Superstar winning the men’s Money In The Bank briefcase this year.
During his time in WWE, Prinze witnessed McMahon reject the fans’ wishes. The former WWE writer fears that the same outcome might be true in the case of Knight, who has organically gotten over with the fans.
Prinze said, “Here’s what’s creepy is that your fear — it’s not that I think this — I know for a fact that your fear is one-hundred percent warranted because I’ve seen Vince know what the crowd wants and then not give it to them on purpose and laugh about it.”
