During Saturday night’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event, we saw FTR and the Briscoes do battle for the ROH Tag Team Championships in what many are calling an early Match of the Year candidate. The match, which went for nearly an hour, was contested under “2 Out of 3 Falls” rules.

Mark Briscoe, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler were all busted open at various points during the bout.

As the two teams were tied up with one pinfall a piece, there was a referee bump that led to all hell breaking loose. In the end, it was Dax Harwood who wound up hitting Jay Briscoe with a top rope piledriver to get the deciding fall.

Following the match, FTR invited the Briscoes into the ring to respect the “Code of Honor,” which the latter did. Harwood then cut a brief promo about how much he loves the professional wrestling business and not caring if fans get on his case about it.

ROH Death Before Dishonor went off the air with the Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta coming out on the stage to stare Harwood and Wheeler down.
