Adam “Hangman” Page was recently part of a post-All Elite Wrestling (AEW) rally media scrum. During the scrum, he answered various questions about the new promotion. Page was asked if he thinks AEW will compete with WWE and what message they were trying to send by holding their rally down the street from SmackDown Live. Here are the highlights:
If AEW will compete with WWE: “That’s not really something we’re focused on,” Page said. “We just want to be the absolute best as we can be. That’s all we’re really worried about.”
What message they were trying to send by holding their rally down the street from SmackDown Live: “That’s never been our intention,” Page said. “Our intention is to give the fans the best wrestling in the world, the best roster in the world and to have a company that listens to the fans and responds to the feedback. I think all of our minds are set on that goal and that’s what we’re really looking forward to doing.”
