Former NWA Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race was will miss this weekends Mid-Atlantic Fanfest due to an injury he suffered in a fall. Harley still made the attempt to drive from St. Louis to Charlotte for his appearance and to promote a new DVD being released by highspots.com.
Race, after driving 35 miles, realized that he just couldn’t make it because he was in so much pain and returned home. He will be getting examined and the fear is that he may have broken his hip.
Race has been confined to a wheelchair in recent years due to hip and neck issues. He had his right hip replaced a while back.
