IMPACT On AXS Average Weekly Ratings Up In 2021 Compared To 2020, Viewership Down

The ratings and viewership for the final IMPACT On AXS TV show of 2021 have surfaced.

This week, the numbers were released for what was the final IMPACT On AXS TV show of the year last Thursday night.

Viewership was up, however, ratings were down for the show that aired from the IMPACT Zone at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee last Thursday, December 30, 2021.

For part two of the special “Best Of 2021” / “Year-End Awards” edition of the weekly IMPACT On AXS TV program on 12/30, the key demographic rating came in at 0.01, with 82,000 total viewers.

By comparison, the 12/23 edition of IMPACT On AXS TV, which was the first installment of the two-part special show looking back at the top moments from 2021 and crowning the “Best of 2021” award-winners in the annual year-end awards finished with a rating of 0.01, and 79,000 viewers.

The demo rating for last Thursday’s IMPACT Wrestling program was equal to the March 30, 2021 episode for the lowest final rating of the year for the promotion. It was also the same number that last year’s “Best Of 2020” / “Year-End Awards” special drew.

Viewership for the final show of 2021 was the best number for the past couple weeks of shows, as the last episode that drew a bigger total audience was on December 9, 2021, where 90,000 total viewers tuned in to AXS TV from 8-10pm EST.

For the year as a whole, IMPACT On AXS TV averaged an 0.037 demo rating in 2021, with 119,000 viewers. This marks a 15.76-percent increase from the year-long average in 2020 for the company, and a 22.69-percent decrease for the average annual key demo rating that the show pulled last year, as 2020 saw the show draw 154,000 average viewers on a weekly basis, with an 0.032 key demo rating.
