The Laredo Morning Times is reporting that indie wrestler ASF (Luis Antonio Garcia) was arrested on December 6th and charged with online solicitation of a minor as well as displaying harmful material to the youngling.

According to the arrest report, ASF was brought in for questioning after he allegedly sent explicit photos to an 11-year-old fan several years ago.

ASF allegedly began texting her and eventually sent the explicit photos along with “weird messages” such as saying she was attractive. She was 11 years old at the time. Authorities were tipped off by the girl’s mother. ASF also allegedly communicated with her via Snapchat including sending her “weird pictures” including “his thing [Penis].”

When brought in for questioning in late August, ASF asked if it was about minors trying to accuse him, and claimed that the girl’s boyfriend was telling people “all this stuff” and “had it out for him.”

ASF alleged that he didn’t have Snapchat and later told authorities that he got “caught up in the moment.” When asked how many times he had sent his nude photos, he said “three times maybe.” When asked why he’d send the explicit pictures, ASF said, “My answer is I’m not sure. I have nothing to tell you. It was a stupid mistake.’”

ASF has appeared for GCW in the past, though the promotion and others stopped booking him around January 2023. Allegations of his inappropriate behavior began circling within wrestling circles around this time. He had only been working for indie promotion Lucha Maniaks as of late.

ASF is currently out on bond.

Dreamwave Wrestling has announced the launch of a new all-women’s promotion called Uprising: Women Athletes. The news follows Dreamwave’s all-women ‘Uprising’ show on December 8th.

In a recent appearance on the “Generation of Wrestling” podcast, PCO discussed the current goal of TNA Wrestling which is to conduct events in bigger venues again.

PCO said, The goal would be to go to bigger venues, but maybe not right away for all the TV tapings. Hard To Kill, before we were at Sam’s Town, this is at the Palms. Different building, nicer place, bigger place. I think there will be some major ones during the year and a difference you’ll see in TNA. Also, the fact that a lot of people with IMPACT would call it TNA. The lineage of TNA, even though it was the same, it looked like two different companies. Now it feels like IMPACT is Raw or SmackDown and TNA is WWE. It feels like a bigger name altogether, more well-known. Everybody knows TNA. There is that vibe where there is something special about those three letters. Something big, special, unique, and it rings a bell. The nostalgia effect is big too. The lineage, the nostalgia effect, and the direction the company is going. I feel like you don’t have to lose $40 million a year to grow your company. You can grow a company with still making money. You don’t have to lose money every year in order to build something. It can be something you build more solidly and constantly instead of go sign everybody and go big right away. I don’t think you can buy time. I don’t think you can step on time. I don’t think you say because I have money, I’m going to shave ten or fifteen years of what someone else would have done. In a way, you can because you need money to make money, but I don’t think it’s a matter of money. There are so many places where you have to be careful when growing something, whatever business it is.”
