WWE SmackDown Live star Jeff Hardy has had his court date pushed back yet again, per a report from Wrestling Inc.
Hardy is due in court on Monday, May 11 to answer for a DWI charge for which he was arrested back in October of 2019. Initially, Hardy was to be in court today (Mon. April 6, 2020) but the date was pushed back. Back in mid-March, North Carolina Chief Justice Cheri Beasley announced that most District and Superior court cases within the state would be extended for at least 30 days due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It remains unclear if Hardy’s pushed court date is a result of Beasley’s ruling or if Hardy’s lawyers intended to extend the case anyway. Currently, the North Carolina court calendar reads that Hardy is scheduled to face DWI charges and a 30-day civil revocation of his driver’s license at 8 a.m. ET on May 11 in Moore County court room 201. Hardy was initially arrested for the DWI on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
