Former WWE, WCW and TNA wrestler Jeff Jarrett recently appeared on the V2 Wrestling Podcast to talk about GFW, his future as a in-ring competitor and more. Here are the highlights:
On if Global Force Wrestling would be similar to the NWA, meaning would it be more of an alliance rather than a promotion: “The short answer is yes,” Jarrett said, pointing out that there are several things behind the scenes that have to be wrapped up first. “in the next 4-6 weeks, the first announcement will be coming.”
On his future as a in-ring competitor: “No, my full-time days in the ring are over. I’ll probably have a few shows here and there. But my main focus is Global Force Wrestling and launching that brand as a standalone promotion,” Jarrett said. He’s appeared for both AAA and NJPW in 2015.
