John Cena, who is starring in Playing with Fire, took to Twitter today to make a very generous donation to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the California Fire Foundation in the amount of $500,000. October 28th (today) marks “First Responder’s Day.”
Cena said, “Two incredible choices. @LAFDFoundation and @CAFireFound … on behalf of Paramount and the cast of #PlayingWithFireMovie, a total of $500K is coming your way. Thank you for what you do. Help is on the way!!!”
For those unaware, Cena portrays a firefighter in his new film. The movie will hit theaters on November 8th:
