According to the “Hollywood Reporter”, John Cena has landed a major role in the “Transformers” spin-off movie: Bumblebee. Cena’s star continues to grow as he has been making a name for himself in Hollywood as well as continuing to perform in the WWE. There is no word on how this very well could affect John Cena’s WWE schedule, but the release date for the film is set for December of next year.
Below is the synopsis for the movie:
“The story is set in the year 1987, where Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”
