Kevin Owens suffered a sprained MCL in a singles match against Austin Theory at a recent WWE live event.
Despite the injury, WWE kept to its original plans as The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn) defeated The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland), Drew McIntyre, and Owens in the main event for Survivor Series inside the WarGames cage.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Owens’ knee held up in the match and was good enough for him to wrestle Jey Uso on Monday’s RAW, but he is still dealing with the injury.
Although the injury is still there, it’s believed to be a good sign that he can work through it, as there was some concern two weeks ago that he’d be out for a while.
