The Latest On Jack Swagger Debuting For WAW (The Promotion Owned By Paige’s Family)

UPDATE: WWE has released Jack Swagger as the following statement was posted on WWE.com earlier today:

WWE has come to terms on the release of Jack Swagger as of today, March 13, 2017. WWE wishes Swagger the best in all his future endeavors.

ORIGINAL: As previously reported here on eWn, WAW, the promotion owned by Paige’s family, was advertising Jack Swagger for their TV tapings in Norwich this weekend. Following their announcement, WWE issued a statement saying that Swagger had not been granted his release from the company and when/if it was granted, he’d have a 90-day non-compete clause. WAW wound up replacing Swagger with Chris “Chris Masters” Adonis, who went on to win the WAW Heavyweight Championship. Later in the show, he lost the title to Alberto El Patron.
