WWE Hall of Famer and All Elite Wrestling’s Mark Henry gave his thoughts on this past Saturday’s Backlash 2023 pay-per-view event while appearing on SiriusXM’s “Busted Open Radio.”
Henry believes the show was better than WrestleMania 39 except for the main event due to the in-ring action that WWE presented.
WWE Backlash 2023 was headlined by Cody Rhodes beating Brock Lesnar. At WrestleMania 39 (Night Two), Rhodes lost to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
“The wrestling at Backlash was better than the wrestling at WrestleMania [39], minus the main event,” Henry said.
