Chalk up another title win for former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona!
During All Star Wrestling’s (ASW) 16th Anniversary event that took place on Saturday night in West Virginia, Matt Cardona defeated Richard Holliday to capture the ASW Heavyweight Championship.
The title win means Cardona now holds seven pro wrestling belts, including the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, IMPACT Digital Media Championship, Internet Championship, NYWC Heavyweight Championship, AIW Intense Championship, AIW Absolute Championship, and now the ASW Heavyweight Championship.
Following the show, Cardona took to Twitter and wrote the following,
“Omg! I’ve done it. I retained the @nwa Worlds Heavyweight Champion and become the NNNEEEWWW @aswwrestling Heavyweight Champion! I now have SEVEN titles! #StillHere #AlwayzReady”
Additionally, Cardona sent out another tweet that contained a photo of all seven of his title belts and issued a warning to pro wrestling promoters who want to book him against their champions. He said,
“Dear wrestling promoters, Please stop booking me against your champions. My suitcase is too heavy and is ripping. Love, Matt Cardona.”
I must admit, @MostMarketable took me to my limit. Dick has a bright future in this business…it’s just not his time yet because I’m #StillHere!!! https://t.co/qdf02ooDNK
