Early Monday morning, Matt Hardy announced via YouTube that he let his contract with WWE expire and now he’s a free agent.
While there’s no word yet on what Hardy will do next, there is speculation that he could sign with AEW or re-sign with WWE and go to NXT.
Hardy will be signing this weekend in Queens, NY at the Big Event convention, which marks his first post-WWE appearance. The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Braun Strowman and more are set to appear at the convention.
