  • While many have been buzzing about a potential Davey Boy Smith-Tom Lawlor championship showdown, Teddy Hart has told us he plans on “cleaning out the middleweight division” and going for Tom’s belt. Ambitious goals but who are we to doubt the reigning World Middleweight Champion? After all, he’s dominated the division for half a year and counting.
  • With the news of Ross and Marshall Von Erich inking with Major League Wrestling, several Dallas/Fort Worth area venues have begun bidding to host the first MLW event in the DFW metro market. League officials are in Dallas today meeting with various venue and city officials.
  • Look for Major League Wrestling to be featured in an upcoming VICELAND episode of The Wrestlers. The series premieres May 22nd.
  • Shooter Ariel Dominguez got an impressive win on this week’s FUSION, outwrestling his adversary. The University of Iowa grappler just had his profile added to MLW.com. Learn more about Dominguez.
  • There are reports that CONTRA Unit was spotted in Singapore and South Korea recently. What would take the global dealers to the Far East? We won’t even begin to speculate.
  • Following the tragic death of Silver King, The league is working with its referees to have CPR and life-saving training to ensure the safety and well being of the athletes during competition.
