MJF finally made his return to AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night.
Initially, MJF pandered to the crowd, wearing a Buffalo Bills jersey of quarterback Josh Allen, putting over the fans and the city. He vowed to win the AEW World Title, and noted he’s not in the tournament for the title because he already has a guaranteed shot at the title whenever he wants.
However, after being interrupted by Jon Moxley, MJF changed his tune, taking off the Bills jersey and tossing it, trashing the team, city, and fans. He then noted that he might win the AEW World Title and take it to a “real” professional wrestling company with “real” fans.
He also mentioned Cody Rhodes by name, saying he might go join him, and called “The Game” his favorite wrestler. MJF also mentioned Nick Khan, saying he was the only real Khan in the wrestling business. He soon made his exit after Moxley threatened a physical confrontation.
