The reason for Impact Wrestling changing its name back to “TNA Wrestling” has been rationalized as a “buzz generator.” The company will also be using the old brand name as a means to unify the history of the company’s various names.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the plan to revert back to the “TNA Wrestling” brand name was made over the summer, but circumstances resulted in delays until this point.
Additionally, the company is planning to make changes to various facets of its presentation moving forward. This includes logos, look, production, venues, and more.
Finally, it was added that there are no plans to revive the six-sided ring.
