PROGRESS Wrestling in Great Britain announced on Sunday that they would be hosting two WWE Global Cruiserweight Series qualification matches at their April 24th event.
As we reported earlier on the site, William Regal announced at the March 19th Evolve show that the qualifying matches for the United States portion of the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series will take place in EVOLVE.
The Cruiserweight series is set to begin airing on Wednesday, July 13th at 9pm on the WWE Network and will feature many wrestlers that are not currently signed to WWE/NXT. There are plans to film matches for the 32-man tournament at Full Sail University.
