As we reported earlier here on eWn, Shane McMahon, The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Mark Henry, Ted Dibiase, Pat Patterson, Christian, Santino Marella, Rey Mysterio’s son Dominick and Ric Flair are all in town for the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. There is no word on if any of them will be appearing live.
For what it’s worth, there has been a lot of talk about WWE Hall of Famer Edge returning in the Royal Rumble match. There have been rumors for months now that Edge has signed a new WWE contract and has been cleared to compete but he has always denied them.
As of this writing, there are currently 27 people announced for the men’s Royal Rumble. Of course, they could bump some people if they want to do more than three surprises.
